It seems like it's monday... Summer vacation you know, the days just mix together. Happy Canada Day, eh!! ;D
I've done so much this week, wooo it's crazy. Backwards? Kay, so earlier we (me&annun, who else) had lunch with Em and Trist, and this was our last time seeing Trist, cause his going away tonight, so it was saaaad saying goodbye. But the two of them will come to europe one day, so we'll see them again.
Last night we stayed over at a friend's cottage by the river, so we played charades and watched the stars, c'était magnifique! Sunday day, we were over at Kenda's and ate pretty much haha, but it was a little goodbye thing for us exchange students.
From friday to sunday morning, we were at Algonquin park where Kelsey works, so I got to see her a last time, she's awesome. We went hiking and canoeing and gosh it's pretty out there.
Thursday Em and Trist was over too, and we sat out and chilled, they're adorable. Wednesday we hang out with some girls from school and we ate sushi. Vuxenpoäng på det va! Then we slept at Mel's and watched some more stars. I like stars...
Tuesday night we were at Yolands goodbye party. Definetly keeping in touch with that guy, he has a house in greece... haha ;) It was a fun night, although I got a bit wet, those guys..
Tuesday afternoon I hung out with Jessica from my dance class and even earlier tuesday we went to lunch with Jérémie the french read head. He took us to eat burgers, eh, and so I had pumbaa. Yummy!
Monday evening we hung out with Gab from drama, and watched a movie and just talked. She's made us a video, aaaaawe. And then monday afternoon I had ice cream with a couple of guys. So yeah, I've kept busy.
Last couple days guys, last days. On thursday I will be home. I can barely belive it, but well it's true. So this is my last blog post. We have canada day celebrations later on by the river, and then tomorrow it'll mainly be packing and some chilling with ma giiiirls and then wednesday I'm leaving.
Canada has been awesome, and I will cherish my very last days and I'm so thankful I was able to do this.
Thank you for reading my blog, I'll see ya soon. Goodbye, lots of love and all that crap.
PEACE OUT NIGGAH'S!

Where to even start. I've been doing so much it feels like much more than a week since last time. So monday I had my very last exam - the oral part of drama. It was so fun to listen to everyone else and see their otfits. I think my monologue went well, it was a little too short, but I didn't need her to tell me my lines and I was very convincing as creepy crazy scientist.
Then tuesday I enjoyed my first free day, and went out with Annun and a few others. Afterwards we sat around in GDE's room and talked to the people. (GDE= gouvernement de l'école). We also got to kidnap some school logos and apparently people found my blog and this one guy was overly excited about being mentiond (he sold me the patriot t-shirt), but he wanted to be named so - hi McKensie :)
Wednesday everyone else had their last exam (I had some 12th grade courses so mine started earlier) so almost everyone in my grade (11) and some of the grade 10s went to the beach and hang out. Really nice!!
Thursday morning I went picking flowetrs back in the bush, which resulted in a whole lot of mosqito bites, and some weird burn looking thingies. I than made midsommarkransar and around two my parents came! So I've had a couple of days with them. It was really nice seeing them aaaaand, they brought me an empty bag ;) haha I'm such a loving daughter eh?
So thursday evening we went out for supper with Julie and her parents, then my parents dropped me off at Natasha's where me and Annun stayed the night, and then in the morning we all went to Calypso, which is a water park in Ottawa. I thought I was gonna die so many times, but I did do everything - I'm proud of myself. We went on one where you got into a chest almost, it was standing up, and then once you're in there and it's closed the floor goes away and you just drop. Scary as hell. Amazing day!
When we got back, we had traditional swedish midsummer with sill och potäter och dans runt stången och hela köret. Explaining it to someone who don't know what it is, let me tell you it sounds crazy. "And the you jump around pretending you're a frog"
Jake got one too
Annun and her sister
Welcome to the country side eh!!
(Yo I legit take so many pauses when I write my blog posts, I've been sitting here for like an hour and a half...)
So anyways, friday night was the last time we saw pretty much all of the grade 12s, and it was really really sad to say bye to Julie :(
Saturday we (me, my parents, Norma and Kolby) went to old Montréal. We ate lunch at a really cute place, and we walked around and looked at stuff, it was really nice. At night Norma and Alan went to a wedding reception, so me and my mother test packed my bags. So my big purple one is now full and has the maximum weight. I've collected a whole bunch of weird things over the year, half of it for my scrap book haha.
This I took my mother for a run back in the bush, and we realised halfways that the pups had been following us, but they were good and didn't run off. At ten-ish we went to Philos, and afterwards my parents left, and we went to Sarah's baby shower. Sarah is Norma's best friedns's daughter, and they usually both come to Philos too, they also have exchange students. The place was so pretty and the decorations were adorable. I sat with Hannah and Rebecca (their exchange students) and while talking we figured out we only have ten days left in Canada. TEN. Like omg where did the time go.
So yeah, I'm trying to do as much as I can, and just cherish my last few days. Le Canada, il me manquerais!

So this week's been exam week. Started off wednesday with politics, then written drama thursday morning and then socio in the afternoon. Friday was physics. I'm pretty sure I passed all of them, there were some questions that I whinged, but in general it went well. The only thing I do not get is why the teachers are so keen on having the students write a long paragraph about what we learnt in class. The worst was socio were the last question was write a three page essay - complete with intro, développement et conclusion - about what you learnt and how you will be able to apply it in your future life. I can write in french, and I can bullshit, but bullshittig in french? Kill me know. But I sqeezed in some thériciens and some stuff so hopefully, I'll be good, and even if I'm not, my average before exams is good enough so I'll pass the course anyways.
Tomorrow I have my last exam, the acting part of drama. We had to write a 300-350 word monologue, learn it by heart and then perform it with as much spirit and into the character as we possibly can. I'mma be a crazy scientist taking over the world. Nothing new there eh? ;)
So anyways. Friday after exams, we (me, Annun and Em) went over to Trist's place, made cookies and sat outside in the sun talking, until Annun's parents came. Yep, they're here now. My own parents are coming here to Cornwall on thursday (or if it was wednesday...), they left Sweden today which mustve been yesterday swedish time by now.
Today it was Father's Day here in Canada, so being so very original as I am (or not) I picked flowers. It's the thought that counts.
Yesterday I was over at Annuns and it really felt like summer. We swam in the pool, lay some on the mattress tanning (reslut=my stomach is red), went for a walk and found some wild strawberries. She had never before made a wild strawberry-straw so I introduced her to that. They do taste better eaten off a straw. Then we baked some cookies, sat and talked and then we thought we'd just lay on the mattress again without going in but obviously that didn't work out... So we swam arounf some more, this time in our clothes. At night my host parents picked us up and we all went over to Alan's brother's and had a bonfire, so now I've made real smores on a real bonfire.
Kelsey was home durng the week too, which was really nice. We're most likely gonna go up to Algonquin park where she works when my parents come here.
Well anyways, I don't really have any pictures from this week, so I guess this is it.

To think this is my fourth last blog post. It's getting real. I've started walking around taking pictures of the school and my teachers. I only need to find DJ tomorrow, then I have them all. I have my first exam wednesday, and I've actually started to study a bit for my exams (needless to say, most for the one I have last...) Since my grades here doesn't transfer, I can tell you my motivation is pretty low.
So these are my locker buddies! Sam, Mark and Annun.
(I'm sitting outside, so I can't actually tell if they're visible or not... I hope so haha)
And why eat inside in the cantine when you can be outside in the sunshine? Me and Annun have found the perfect benches, so we go there almost every day for lunch, and we've done that since pretty much the end of march. Sometimes we socialize though, mostly when it's rainy...
I think it was tuesday, I was sitting outside reading in my new favourite spot, I can't believe I haven't found it earlier, but anyways. I was sitting there reading (dubbla tjocktröjor och raggsockar, men almanackan säger sommar!) when Alan called me over from the barn. And there, climbing on the wall is a baby racoon! Honestly so adorable, I was like aaaaaaaaaaw, and then of course went and got my camera, like the true tourist I am.
I mean, have you ever seen a more perfect reading tree?
And while talking about animals, yesterday morning when I was out running, I saw a turtle. Yes, I meant to say that. TURTLE. It scared me half to death too. It was at the further edge of the corn field, right before I go into the bush, and I'm looking down because I don't wanna step on the corn you know, and then all of a sudden I see this face staring at me. I almost fell over, no kidding. My first thought was it's a snake, but then I knew it couldn't be, because snakes don't just let you jump over them, like it would've moved. So my next thought is it's gotta be some kinda weird frog. And all this I think while regaining my balance, so I stop and like look to see if it is a frog and then I'm like, wait a minute, that ain't no stone... It's a TURTLE! Like woaw.
And then this week there was "Sweden Day", which I would've totally forgotten about if it weren't for Gab coming up asking me if I wanted to read a prayer in swedish that day. See, my school is catholic - École secondaire catholique La Citadelle - so every morning it's veillez-vous lever pour l'hymne nationlae et la priaire, and then different people read the prayer of the day. So I read Gud som haver, about the only prayer I know.
Wednesday we made smores in physics, something that Monsieur promised us a looooong time ago. So smores is something that you're supposed to eat over a bonfire, but microwave works fine too. So it's graham crackers (smakar nästan precis som digestivekex), with chocolate and marshmallows. It's a little hard to eat without getting chocolate everywhere, but they were good. And now you're wondering (or not...) how this is physics. Micro waves.
Nom nom nom
Thursday we got our year books! So I've started collecting signatures too. I also got my school shirt that a guy from my politics class convinced me to buy, it's a good memory.
Friday was a PE day, so I made a brave attempt on studying but meeh.. At least finished writing my monologe for my drama exam. Yesterday evening/night I spent over at Hannah's, hanging out and talking. She's my host family's bestfriends exchange student, so that's how we know one another, from the sunday brunches at Philo's. Today the sun is shining again, so I'm just gonna finish this up then I'm gonna curl back up in that tree, with my politics notes.
SEE HEAVEN'S GOT A PLAN FOR YOU

I am extremely lucky. I've know all along how wonderful and adorable my host family is, but recent events just made me appriciate that even more.
Right now, I just got off skype with Hannapanna, and she just told me our DNA is 96% the same as the banana. Interesting... I'm sitting out in the swing, it's warm, but windy. The dogs are keeping me company, they're such affection seekers, hahah. So this is Mary, one of the pups, an austrailian sheperd. I couldn't manage to get Jake or Max to be still enough to take a good picture, but I can assure you they're just as adorable.
Yesterday me and Annun ate chocolate cake with homemade raspberry ice cream. It's june, and it's officially summer. We also helped Norma plant flowers in just about everything we could find on the deck that could hold flowers. And we got herbs, so now I can feast in parsley, which for me is the true taste of summer.
Friday night the school had a sports award gala - gala sportif - where they served food, handed out awards and had a little dance afterwards. It seemed like everyone who got an award got at least three and everyone else didn't get any at all, but I think they all deserved them. Mind you, I don't know half the people but anyways, it was a really nice night and the gym looked so pretty.
The days go by, and there's now only six school days left until exams start. The teachers have started handing out sheets of what will appear on the exams, and I've realised the time really is running out. Getting my plane tickets home the other day made that even more real.
Peace out, you know you miss me!

Here we go, New York.
We went up early friday morning and Annun's area rep Joseph picked us (me, Annun and Em) up from their house and drove us to the place from where the bus departured. Also on the trip where the other two exchange students from school, Elisabeth and Yoland, with a few friend each.
Nick, Yoland, Jenn's mom, Elisabeth, Jennifer, Gab, Joseph + 4 of his friends, Annun, me, Em, David, Mitchell
It was a long bus ride, with a lot of stops, but seeing as I'm a natural at sleeping, it was all good. The tour bus we were on, was one for french retired people and the tour guide Robert was really nice and funny.
Honestly, this trip is now so far away I might not be able to put everything in exact chronological order, but never mind. We arrived late at our hotel, and the first thing we did after dumping our bags up in our rooms was eating. Welcome to America, where a pancake is the size of a pizza!
We stayed in New York until midday monday, when we went on the long bus ride back again. During our time there, we saw Central Park on the only sunny time of our trip and walked around. It was so peaceful in there, and we saw the big Imagine sign and there was a hippie sitting by the side of it playing the song. We went shopping on 5th avenue, taking pictures with the hos Abercrombie&Fitch models. Yep, they ligit had a guy standing shirtless in the door with another person taking pictures of the tourist and the guy with the old kind of camera that prints them our right away. I felt a little bad for the poor guys...
We ran up and down the streets in the rain, saw the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, went on a guided walk through the city; wall street, where the twin towers used to be, some kind of bull of good fortune. We walked around in Chinatown, almost getting lost on the way there. Ate some dough-thingies from a stand on the street and took a yellow cab. Believe me, it's not as easy to find one as it seems in the movies. Turns out you have to stand on the right street.
I was surprised at how cosy and friendly New York was. I mean, it's huge, but it didn't have the whole big city feeling to it. Like in a way it did, but at the same time it was just like this nice friendly place. My favourite place out of the ones we went to was central park, it was so pretty and harmonic.
Central park
At Pier 17 there was this cute little story with the coolest hangers I have ever seen, all covered in pearls. I didn't want any of their clothes, but I wouldn't have said no to one of those hangers. Just imagine your closet like that. Oh wow.
New York Stock Exchange and the Statue of Liberty
When you're not looking for a cab, they're everywhere, but when you are... None.

I was going to post earlier, actually, I was posting, but then it erased everything so I did a brave attempt at the homework that I've procrastinated all weekend. Let's just say I now need I break from that.
I was going to post about NYC when I got back too, but I wanted to wait for Nick/Yoland to send me the pictures from central park, so well, I'll post about that eventually. I had an amazing trip, and for now, youäll have to make do with that.
Anyways, we arrived home around midnight monday, so tuesday in school I was tired - even though I slept half the bus ride. Then wednesday, nothing special, then thursday we got soaked when we went for our usual lunch walk, me and Annun... And friday was prom so we were more or less excused from school. (Which means the teachers know there's no point in planning class cause no one will show up anyways...)
So prom.
We started out thursday night, when Julie came over after school. We talked, chilled, watched a movie and ate cake as well as put her hair up on rollers to save time in the morning. She has about seven times my hair, so curling it takes time. Then friday morning Annun came over too, and we all got ready together. We slept in, made brunch and then I did Annuns hair, and then the two of us took out the rollers from Julie's hair (took a while...) It didn't exactly turn out as planned, but since we're creative, the end result was pretty. That's what you get from art class haha!
At 4.30 our dates came over, so we took a bunch of pictures and the off to dinner with some other people, all organised by Natasha! So we ate at St Huberts, and then off to the Civic Complex were the actual prom was. It was very nicely decorated and they served very good chocolate covered stuff! By the end my feet hurt badly, but I survived haha. We mingled around a lot, I talked quite a while with Anne from my art class last semester, lovely girl that one!
All in all, I had a fantastic night!
Chantal, Annun, me, Julie, Dan (Annuns date), Stephen (Julie's date), Christian (my date), Alex (Chantal's date) and Nate (Natasha's boyfriend), and Natasha took the picture so she's not in it. A little later Ashley came too.
(Natasha in white, and Ashley in light blue)
Otherwise there's not much more to say, I've spent more time with this post than I care to admit, and I'm still not done my homework... Heja mig!

Tuesday was le général costumé down in the gym, wednesday we did three plays, in the morning for grades 7-9, after lunch for 5-6, and in the evening for the parents. This morning we did gor our grades; 10-12. So this was Le Festival des Arts, where all art classes performed. My class did L'Avare (by Molière) but we rewrote it to our time and called it L'Avare, version deux mille treize. It's about this old greedy man, Harpagon, and his kids, Cléante and Élise. It's a complicated play, there's some love affairs, some stealing of les codes des comptes de banque en Suisse (told you it's a complicated play - try saying that fast, in the right order...) In the end too, it turns out we're all related, some messed up things there. And not to forget, some me beating up Andrew, my favourite part after Phil's solo, cause that was just amazing.
So this is my lovely drama class, adorabe bunch!
Mat (le commissaire), Aimée (Marianne), Kristen (Élise), Eve (servitrice), Bria (servitrice), me (Valère)
Andrew (Maître Jaques), Gab (Froisine), Dan (Dame Claude), Phil (Harpagon), Cass (Anselme), Ann (LaFlèche), Krystale (Cléante), Madame Piché, and in the front we have our special kid Guy (Maître Simon)
Yäää det är bra upplösning på min kamera...
Ma clé, ma clé, elle est où?! Elle est disparu, elle était juste là! On m'a volé, on m'a assassiné, au secours, à l'aide, on m'a tué, on m'a engorge. Je vais trouver le voleur et je jure sur la tête de ma mère qu'il va le regretter. Personne ne vole du parrain de la Mafia. - Personne - ne vole - d'Harpagon.
And all wednesday when me and Annunziata were walking around in our sexy eye brows... Let's just say other people raised theirs. But yeah, all this week's been pretty much this play. And for all of you that noticed that it is not sunday, I will agree, no it is not. Tomorrow (friday) morning we're getting up early to catch the bus to New York City! I'm so excited I would swear if it wasn't inappropriate. So yeah, New York it is! I'm going with Ann and her group, so we're seven people from school plus a host brother plus our coordinator and his wife. It's gonna be amazing!
My bus driver pointed out there's only four weeks left of school and I was like seriously? So I looked it up and yep, 50 days, then I'm home.

Friday night, we finally had that school dance, theme neon. Me and Annunziata mixed and matched our striped socks, god were they ever comfy! We had a fantastic night, jumping around like fools with the other girls. Yes, there was probably about 96% girls there, but who cares. Afterwards, me and Annun went to my place and watched a movie with an english speaking danish prince, interesting... She stayed here until this morning.
I had a really good friday, started out good with spare in socio, the teacher next door was like oh Monsieur Nadeau wanted you to watch this video - shows us some kind of kids program with a song, and he sings along for a little bit, and then he was like, nah, vous avez un spare, bonne fin de semaine! Awesome. Anik has a car, so her, Kassia and I went cruising as they call it haha. Real nice!
Amy (the oldest sister) has been home since thursday, and it's been really nice, she went back to hers about an hour or so ago though. Today it was mother's day here in Canada, so me and Annun went up early to pick flowers back in the bush and make boquettes for our adorable host mothers, happy mother's day!
So today we went on a cheese route in Québec (the province), and mmmh, they were good. Yesterday evening me, Annun and Amy watched a dance movie and then something called Ted Talks. Very interesting stuff that, people talking about different things.
Thursday I actually went up early, to go out running before school. There's something quite magical about the morning mist and the rising sun... Second period thurday, we went to a place close enough to school to watch MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) do an reinactment of a car accident. It was really touching.
Tuesday me and Annunziata walked home from school and I burned my legs reeeeeeeally badly, they were so burnt it hurt to move for a while there, but some after sun and it's all good. We saw Monsieur Lacelle (physics) biking, and god is it ever weird seeing teachers outside of school, especially Lacelle, he looks so different without his bow tie... I guess having your socio teacher being a former underwear model is even weirder though. Sounds interesting? Google Pierre-Alexandre Nadeau.
Monday we had a spare in physics, so me and Julie went down to the river, sat on some rocks with our feet in the water and enjoyed the sunshine.

I know it's late, but in my time zone it's still sunday and in the middle of the day it'a just too warm to do anything haha. So yeah, the weather here is nice, 25+ and not a cloud in sight for the last week now, and the forecast predicts more of that. Oh yes, I'm enjoying the sunshine! I've been using sun screen, but I still managed to get nice red shoulders...
Earlier today, I wen for a walk back in the bush with my camera, on the trail where I usually run. So I've spent the last, i don't even know how long, putting them and some pictures from the week together into collages, all for you my dears. So here's some flowers! Mmm, it's just so so beautiful back there. My camera can't really capture it though, but you know the feeling when the sun comes down through the trees and it's all just a magical green...
I'm thinking these are maybe the fleur de lys from the emblem, but I'm not really sure... Pretty though eh?
Otherwise this week, I don't even know. It's too warm to think. I'm not complaining though, I'm loving it all, sunburns and everything. Me and Annunziata went with her coordinator to fix out passport so we'll be able to get into the States for the NYC-trip. So pumped!
In drama class we're preparing for our big play in two weeks. I'm playing a guy, so I've been practising my manly walk; shoulders back, one hand in the pocket and the other one swaying. I'm so manly... Other classes, meh. We do stuff of course, but it's mostly just taking notes, nothing too interesting.
Well anyways my dears, goodnight, and see y'all in two months. Yep, crazy, that's exactly what it is.
SO LET'S SET THE WORLD ON FIRE

It's been very warm nice weather this week. Enev though I've worn sun screen since monday, I've still managed to get a bit of a sunburn...
I've been out running a lot and exploring some new paths that I hadn't tried before. Because sometimes in order to find new paths you have to leave the security of another one behind, and maybe get a little lost on the way, but like they say, all roads leads somewhere. I like running. The serenity of the bush, the sounds of the birds. It's my alone time, and it gives me the opportunity to clear my head. The other day, I just stopped, lay down on the field and watched the blue sky, just lying there, listening to life, so peacefull.
On wednesday it was my oldest sister's birthday, so we were supposed to skype all family once I got home from school, but due to bridge reparations, I didn't get home until 4.10 pm - I usually get home 3.15, so that's late. So that didn't happen... Then again, I don't think she was online either...
My other sister though, I talk to every now and then. We even have our own Friskis-pass via skype.Oh yeah, we're creative ;)
Friday we did a charity bike round, on a big 30 seat red bike. I think it was for stroke. It was a bit sudden, rather different and also very nice.
Last night, we had a bonfire for Rebecca (an other exchange student, from the same program as me, living with some of my host familys friends). So me and Annunziata had made a chocholate cake with nice sparkly green letters saying Rebecca. Very appreciated.

The sky is blue, and there's not a cloud in sight. I ran in t-shirt this morning, without freezing as crazy. This week I've had my first ice cream outside and I've counted twelve different kinds of flowers. Spring is officially here, and I just love it.
This is Max, one of the puppies, such a cutie!
Right now I'm skyping with the family, we were supposed to celebrate Kajas birthday, which is wednesday, but since my dad got sick, she didn't go home so I ended up skyping with my parents. But they're nice too ;)
Apart from that, not much to say. Me and Annunziata had a movie night yesterday, I'm really really gonna miss her once we go back home... :'( But that's still far in the future, so let's not think about that. I'm enjoying the present, whitout thinking too much of the future. Time passes crazy fast though, and the warmer it gets, the fatser it seems. Anyways, enjoy the sunshine people!

Welcome to Canada; the country were we have all the four seasons - in one week.
Friday we had another snow day and there were actually a whole lot of snow. I was kinda sad, not only because of the snow, but because they cancelled the dance. Or not actually cancelled it, they’re pushing it to May 3rd, but anyways...
Monday when I got home I sat outside for almost an hour, studying for my test in socio, soaking up vitamin D with a cup of tea and Jake as mental support. Needless to say I wore both woollen sweater and socks...
Thursday we had spare in the morning due to TPCL, which is sort of like Nationella proven, and everyone has to pass them in grade 10 in order to graduate high school. So seeing as our 10th grade drama was first thing that morning, we got a spare. So me, Ann and Julie went out for brunch and walked around in the nice spring weather.
That afternoon I went for my first run since the snow came in november, it was soooo nice. You know the smell when it’s just been raining and everything’s fresh? Mmmmh... Although, it was pretty wet. Every here and there the trail I run on was flooded so I jumped and splashed. Also there was a big creek and being the orienteer that I am, I figured meh it can’t be that deep, eh? It could. Very deep, actually.
As I already mentioned, friday was a snow day, but it was also my sisters birthday. GRATTIS KLON! So I went up at 5.30, had a battle against the internet connection and then skyped with her for a couple of hours (since I didn’t need to get ready for school anymore). With a little help from her, i finished my projet autonome, which is 20% of our grade in socio. That’s a lot, as a reference, the final exams in the end of the year is 30%.
At two, I got a ride from my very nice nice host father Alan to the cornwall aquatic center to help Julie by playing drowning (she works as a life guard).
Saturday me, Ann, Natasha and her boyfriend went to see scary movie 5 and afterwards hang out at Natasha's. Lovely saturday evening.
As for today, I just got home. I slept over at Natashas and then Norma and Alan picked me up and we all went to Spring Home and Leisure Show. It was like a fair, where they show different things. Cute place.
And yes, I’ll admit it, I actually ended up liking the winning song. It’s amazing how much better it gets when you don’t see him...

It's less than three months left now, but I just really can't wrap my mind around that. It's like when I was going here, I won't realise that I'm leaving until I'm already gone. It makes me sad to think about leaving, so therefore, I don't think about it. Out of sight, out of mind.
So anyways. This week, me and Ann went to the mall to get clothes for the school dance. Yes, the school actually is having a dance! The theme is neon and I'm sooooooo pumped! We have the cutest socks ever... :3
Friday we started off with a drama presentation for some grade 5ers at another school. My group had the pantomime, mais non c'est un pantomime ! un pantomime ? mais oui, c'est comme un mime!
So our storyline was Aimee and Kristen were the dating couple who went to a restaurant where the waiter was a pantomime, me. So me and Kristen, Leonardo, had a couple of little arguments, like me not understanding her order, du vin rouge, rouge, du - vin - rouge, rouge. Je veux prendre un homard, homard, non pas du boeuf, je n'aime pas le boeuf, je veux prendre un homard, HOMARD!
So anyways, the plot was that Leonardo was gonna propose to Annabel (Aimee) but the pantomime (me) stole the ring, but Annabel couldn't marry him anyways; Oh non, je ne peux pas te marier, parce que je suis - wooosh - la cape rouge ! So for you guys who don't understand french, she was a superhero! Nananana la cape rouge! So the pantomime took his chance, and got together with Leonardo.
My group!
Ann's group, they had le clown de cirque!
Le clown blanc et Auguste!
Homard, je veux prendre un homard!
Le clown de théâtre!
This group we're so awesome, but the kids didn't really get the jokes, like when Philippe said in his creepy voice, et moi, j'aime ma famille, the rest of us laughed so bad, but the kids were like meh, whatever.
Me and my fellow mimes!
Once we got back to school me and Andrew (the guy in the middle) walked around all school looking in through the doors and I'm sure we made pretty many of their days haha.
Friday night I was out in the barn helping Alan milk the cows, and then I got to witness a calf being born, that was pretty cool!
Yesterday I hung out with Ann and Em, and we had a really nice time.
Bisous!
I WILL FOLLOW THE RISING BUBBLES TO THE SKY

Back from easter celebration in Toronto! Or well, I've been back for a couple of hours, but I've done some other stuff, amongst others filled in a form for the recruting in case they reimpose the national miltary service. Seeing as I don't suffer from any of those weird sicknesses and put 'no' on pretty much everything, I think I might be called in. Creepy...
Anyways, that wasn't what I was going to write. So I spent easter weekend in Toronto, and I'm gonna explain my relation to these people again. So when my dad was my age, he was also an exchange student in Canada, and so this is one of the sisters in his host family, therefore "my aunt". She and her family also lived in Sweden for a couple of years when I was really small, but anyways, they come back to Sweden every few years and we've visited them once in Canada too, and I went there for a weekend in the end of november too. It's not too complicated eh?
So I went up friday morning, sleeping on the way (of course...), I got there around eleven. We went for a walk in a forest which they might turn into a national park some day. Anyways, the weather was beutiful and the snow was gone, except for some shady places (there's still snow here in Cornwall, but only like a few cenimeters). Saturday we went to a cute little place in the middle of Toronto which was called the destillery district, where there was cobble stones and old buildings, really cute. So these buildings were empty for a long time, but then some hipsters came and made them into a art gallery. It was a really cool place, they had some pretty fascinating stuff.
Beth and Andy, my "aunt and uncle"
Saturday evening, we went to a play called Arigato, Tokyo. Its japanese nd means thank you, but as they pointed out in the play, there's three japansese words for thank you, but none of them really mean thank you. Interesting. All in all, it was a really interesting play. The theme was love; like, is there such a thing as love or is there only our image of what love is supposed to be. Naah, I can't really explain it, but it was really good, quite weird, a lot weird actually, but fascinating.
Sunday, beth's younger sister Jackie and her boys came over for easter dinner. Jackie has taken a cake decorating class, so we decorated a cake. It was really fun, it's like playing with play dough, but you can actually eat it!

"It's not a chick, it's a penguin - in drag"
It's funny, especially in the context - actually, it's really really funny - but I think that's one of those things you'd have to be there for.
